From the South
Take Hwy 101 north from the Golden Gate Bridge to the San Anselmo exit. Turn off and follow Sir Francis Drake Blvd. for approximately 3 miles. Turn left on Bolinas Ave. (at the traffic light) and go two blocks to Kensington Road and make a right turn into the Seminary entrance.

From the East
Take Hwy 580 across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Take the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard exit. As you approach the Hwy 101 underpass, stay in the center lane following the sign to Kentfield, which will remain Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Stay on Sir Francis Drake for approximately 3 miles and turn left on Bolinas Avenue. Go two blocks to Kensington Road and make a right turn into the seminary entrance.

From the North
Take the Central San Rafael exit off Highway 101. Turn right on to Third Street, following it through downtown San Rafael and then along Redhill Boulevard to Sir Francis Drake. Turn left on Sir Francis Drake to the fourth traffic light (Bolinas Ave). Turn right and go two blocks to Kensington Road and make a right turn into the seminary entrance.

SFTS offers brief campus tours, extended historical tours, and opportunities to participate in seminary chapel services and community lunches.

One way to take full advantage of the many rich and exciting opportunities at SFTS is to start with our 30-minute chapel service (during the school year at 10:15 a.m. M, T, Th, or Fri) and the brief time of fellowship and refreshments that follows. Monday chapel is a traditional Presbyterian worship service, Tuesday is a contemplative prayer service, Thursday is a praise service, and Friday is a Communion service.

Following chapel, you are invited to take a guided walking tour around campus. Tours are led by Seminary staff. During tours, one hears about the history of this Presbyterian Seminary of the West, explores the historical campus buildings, and learns more about the role of theological education in the world today. Most groups enjoy walking the full breadth of the campus grounds; however, cars may be used to transport groups around the campus if needed.

If you wish, you may conclude by joining us for community lunch in Upper Alexander Hall. Here you have an opportunity to talk informally with students, staff, and faculty. Should you be interested in bringing your group on campus for chapel, a tour, or for lunch, we request three weeks advance notice.
