The Alumni Council is seeking peer nominations for the SFTS Distinguished Alumni Award. This prestigious award honors Seminary graduates who have demonstrated exemplary dedication and service to the ministry of Jesus Christ, regardless of public prominence. The 2012 Award will be presented during the Spring commencement ceremony, where the SFTS community will formally acknowledge and celebrate the ministry of the recipient. Not only does this award recognize the dedicated ministry of our alums, it also spurs on the imagination and energy of our students for outstanding service to Christ's Church.

Award Criteria

• The award honors distinguished and faithful contributions to the ministry of the Church of Jesus Christ, rather than emphasizing public stature.
• Nominations are open to all SFTS alumni/ae who have attended the Seminary for more than one semester.
• Nominations may be submitted for active or retired alumni from the northern or southern campuses. The award will not be given posthumously, to current faculty or staff, or to previous award recipients.
• Submission deadline: Dec. 15, 2011
