WHO QUALIFIES:
Youth between the ages of 15-20
• Be a member of a Racial Ethnic Presbyterian Church
• Have the permission of his/her parents
• Have a recommendation of their pastor
• The candidate would have to have shown leadership capacity and may be considering a Call to ministry.

COST:
FREE!! (You just have to provide your transportation to and from the seminary)

KEY-NOTE SPEAKER:
Rev. Laurie Garrett-Cobbina
Rev. Garrett-Cobbina occupies the Shaw Family Chair for Clinical Pastoral Education at San Francisco Theological Seminary. Rev. Laurie is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church, (USA), and was pastor of Smallwood Presbyterian Church, in Charlotte, NC from 2001-2006. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. At the age of 15, Laurie was elected as an elder at her home church, Witherspoon Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis, IN. She has been a faculty lecturer and workshop leader throughout the United States and was featured on National Public Radio. Her passion is invested in participating in the development of spiritual leaders.
