Interfaith Mission Trip to NOLA

Join students and alumni in an interfaith community for our third annual mission trip to New Orleans. Guided morning & evening contemplative prayer will book-end our work days and help us notice God’s movement within us, others and in our work. A Lectionary Retreat for Preachers

Join a community of peers to study and pray the 2009-2010 lectionary year in this unique event that blends sermon preparation with spiritual formation. Each day begins and ends with contemplative worship and includes both a scholarly and prayerful approach to the Gospel lectionary texts from Advent to Easter. Co-led by the Rev. Drs. Sam Hamilton-Poore, Director of the Program in Christian Spirituality, and Herman C. Waetjen, Emeritus Professor of the New Testament at SFTS, along with worship leaders and spiritual directors.
