Directions to the Lloyd Center

Main Office:
The Main office of the Lloyd Center is located on the campus of San Francisco Theological Seminary in beautiful Marin County.  SFTS is located in the town of San Anselmo, within a few minutes walk of the downtown area.  San Anselmo is southwest of San Rafael about 5 miles.

From points south: Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge or from southern Marin County, travel north on US Route 101 to the Sir Francis Drake Blvd.  Travel northwest on Sir Francis Drake through the towns of Kentfield and Ross.  At Bolinas Ave, turn left.  Travel three blocks.  Turn right at Kensington Ave and enter the campus of SFTS.  Bear to your left and look for our sign, “Lloyd Center.”  We are on the corner of Kensington and Austin Streets.

From points North: Travel south on US route 101. Exit at Sir Francis Drake Blvd.  Travel northwest through the towns of Kentfield and Ross. At Bolinas Ave, turn left.  Travel three blocks.  Turn right at Kensington Ave and enter the campus of SFTS.  Bear to your left and look for our sign, “Lloyd Center.”  We are on the corner of Kensington and Austin Streets. (One may also exit in Central San Rafael, take third street west which becomes Red Hill Blvd. into San Anselmo, turning left at Sir Francis Drake and then right at Bolinas Ave.).

From points East: Travel west on I-580 toward San Rafael, crossing the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge(toll $4).  The second exit after the bridge is Sir Francis Drake Blvd.  Follow Drake over a hill and pass the Larkspur landing.  As you approach the interchange with US Route 101, stay in the middle lane, so as to not exit onto Route 101 either north or south.  Follow sign “To Kentfield.”  You should be still on Drake going in northwest direction.  Travel northwest on Sir Francis Drake through the towns of Kentfield and Ross.  At Bolinas Ave, turn left.  Travel three blocks.  Turn right at Kensington Ave and enter the campus of SFTS.  Bear to your left and look for our sign, “Lloyd Center.”  We are on the corner of Kensington and Austin Streets.

From points West:  Travel east on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. into the town of San Anselmo.  On the east side of town, turn right at Bolinas Ave.

Airports:
You can fly into either Oakland Airport or SF Airport.

By car from Oakland airport travel north on I-880.  Where it connects with I-580, take I-580 west to San Rafael.  It will merge briefly with I-80 east and then exit going west to Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. From here follow directions noted above.

By car from SF airport you can travel west on the I-380 a few miles to I-280, then north on I-280 to SF.  Take 19th avenue exit.  Follow 19th avenue through the city toward Golden Gate Bridge.  Follow signs “To Golden Gate Bridge.” From here follow directions noted above.

Bus Service from SF airport: There is a express bus service, Marin Airporter that will take you directly to San Rafael.  Notify us in advance and we can pick you up from the bus terminal in San Rafael.

By BART from SF airport: There is no direct route.  The indirect route is: Get off at Market street stop in SF, walk two blocks north to downtown bus terminal, take bus to Marin County, dropping you off at San Rafael terminal.

Our Berkeley Office
Our Berkeley office is located in the Durant House on the campus of First Congregational Church, Berkeley.  The address is 2345 Channing Way in Berkeley.  The church (and our office) is located south of the main campus of UC Berkeley.  From the GTU complex, which is north of the UC campus, it is about a 15 minute walk.

By BART, get off at the Berkeley stop.  Walk south along Shattuck to Channing Way and then turn east about 5 blocks to 2345 Channing Way.  A 15 minute walk.

Our Burlingame Office
Our Burlingame office is located on the campus of First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame.  The church is located at 1500 Easton Drive, at the corner of Easton Drive and El Camino Real, just a few minutes north of the downtown village of Burlingame, and a few minutes south of the new Kaiser Hospital.   From US Route 101, exit at Broadway, travel west to El Camino Real, turn right to Easton Drive.  From I-280, exit at Trousdale Ave, travel east to El Camino Real, turn right to Easton Drive.  Bus services is available along El Camino Real.
