of OT exegesis. Hebrew Exegesis# [A.Park] Continuation of Basic Hebrew and elements of OT exegesis using
Hebrew. OTFT 4300 Israel and Korea:Comparisons [Chaney, Cho] OT 4410 Psalms [Coote] OT 5100 8th Century Prophecy and Society [Chaney] Hebrew exegesis of oracles from the
8th century prophets; reconstruction of the socio-historical dynamics of the period using all
available data and macrosociological methods. NT 1004 NT Introduction: Gospels and Acts* [Park, Wire] Critical introduction to the
four Gospels and Acts assisting readers to determine the social contexts in which these narratives
were written and the meanings of Jesus' life and death in those settings. Readings from other

work, and theology of Paul as they are reflected in his 7 undisputed epistles in the NT and in

Christian practice and theology in the civilizations of the Middle East, north and east Africa,

present. The Christian faith and its expressions in North American from pre-Columbian times to
the present; survey of Christianity in Europe, the Americans, Africa, and Asia with focus on

bases for faith in God's revelation, examination of contemporary Reformed theology in comparison
with feminist theologies on the subject of God and human existence. ST 1085 Theology II# [Love] Continuation of the introduction to systematic theology. STSP 3045 God and Human Suffering [Love] Investigation of several Christian responses
to the question of the relation between God and human suffering. STPS 4211 Theological Ethics [Love] A comparison of Theravada Buddhist and existentialist
views of self with the traditional Christian view of sin as pride; the relationship of the Christian
view of sin as despair with counseling theory; theories of sin and grace. CE 2011 Contemporary Theory in Social Ethics# [Robb] A review of theological ethicists'
works with a focus on how they advocate that Christians engage in moral reflection on social

self and society. Topics include gender issues, cross-cultural conflict, and understanding, religious

of psychology, sociology, anthropology, and theology. PSHR 5150 Psychology of Religion [Rambo] Psychological interpretations of various facets

of multiplicity, particularity, power/knowledge, and solidarity, an exploration of the implications

spirituality to biblical criticism, theology, history, worship, cultural context, study/scholarship,
body, environment, and vocation. Requires a commitment to regular spiritual practice, willingness
to try a variety of spiritual practices and share experiences with peers, as well as critical
academic reflection. Order, focusing on the rationale for our polity and its function in the church today, the historic

consideration of the pastoral and theological issues involved in the celebration of marriages

experience introducing field education, the settings and types of ministry, and integrative learning
for newly entering students. FE 4011 Internship* [Duensing, Nordquist, S.Y.Park] Supervised practice of ministry in parish or specialized ministry settings.
