![]() David Ng Resource CenterThe David Ng Resource Center is located on the San Anselmo campus of San Francisco Theological Seminary. It works in partnership with the North Coast Resource Center in Fortuna, California to serve the Redwoods Presbytery and the greater ecumenical communities of the Bay Area. It is the mission of these resource centers to assist the seminary and local churches in their educational ministry, and to encourage the sharing of resources as a matter of good stewardship by providing access to educational resources and supplementary materials. Resources We are in the process of cataloguing our resources to make them available for circulation. While working to complete that project. Circulation There is no cost to use the resources. However, we ask that you sign out and return within three weeks anything that you borrow. Please be respectful of others who might want to use the items. The materials of the two resource centers are currently being catalogued and the inventory will be available for circulation via the Internet by fall. Or of course, you are always welcome to drop on by and browse the shelves. Staff members are available for consultations and appointments. Please contact them as necessary! David Ng Resource Center North Coast Resource Center The David Ng Resource Center is located on the first floor of Geneva Hall, at the top of Seminary Hill, found on the campus of San Francisco Theological Seminary. Although a separate entity from the library, you may view and borrow from the Resource Center any time the library in Geneva Hall is open by requesting a key at the library circulation desk. The library hours often change during student holidays, so you may wish to call ahead to confirm hours of availability (415-451-2841).
Named Educator of the Year by the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators in 1991, Ng was the author of many books and articles, including, Children in the Worshipping Community, Youth in the Community of Disciples, and People on the Way: Asian North Americans Discovering Christ, Culture and Community. To make an online donation, click here. Stewart Curricula Archive LibraryThe Stewart Curricula Archive Library holds an extensive collection of curricula archives. Produced prior to and during the past century, these pieces are available for academic study. Samplings include curricula produced by many Protestant and Roman Catholic publishers, the most complete being that of the Presbyterian and Methodist denominations. Historians, educators, and students may review these materials upon request of David Ng Resource Center staff. |
